Feng Shui and Romance

In the application of feng shui principles, we know that rearranging our environment can have tremendous and transformative effects on our lives. In no other area is this as true as it is in the area of love and relationship. Whether you are single and would like to bring life-long partnership, or you are in a relationship and would like to improve the aspects of communication, trust, and intimacy, incorporating the principles and practice of feng shui into your home can either attract that ideal partner into your life or strengthen the partnership that you have.

So often when we do a feng shui consultation in the home of someone who is wishing to attract a life partner, we find so many aspects of the home environment that actually are keeping the individual locked in the energy of being single and alone and there are aspect that are actually keeping love and relationship far away.

One specific feng shui example pertains to artwork. We know that every piece of artwork that we look at we make a subconscious decision as to whether or not we can relate or identify with it. Think about when you go to a movie. If you see a movie that you did not like or understand, you might tell a friend, “What a bad movie- I couldn't relate to it at all.” If you see a movie that you really like, you might tell someone “What a great movie- I could really identify with it.” That's because when we look at art we absorb it and it influences us.

So many times when we have done a feng shui consultation, the client is a single person who has beautiful art work in the home that features single lonely figures. While the art work may be beautiful, each time that individual looks at it, it reinforces the reality that the viewer is a single person. Furthermore, anyone who comes to the home for a visit sees the art work and gets the subconscious message that the owner of the art is single and not someone available for relationship.

As you look around your home, take a look to see if there is art work that sends you a negative message about your relationship status or the relationship that you currently have.

Consider taking down the single lonely art work in the bedroom and replacing it with art work that holds the energy of love and life-long partnership.

Wait and see what happens!
